About Me

I am a Member Engagement Lead at UMDSAB and a Computer Consultant at the University of Michigan, where I apply my skills and passion for technology, education, and event management. I am also pursuing a Master of Science in Computer and Information Science at UMich, focusing on software engineering, data management and analytics, and systems software. Previously, I was a Lead Software Developer at Open Learning Exchange (OLE) Nepal. I led a team of six game designers and developers to create learning games for children in rural areas in collaboration with MIT Nepal Initiative. I also contributed to developing EPaath, an interactive content platform that delivered more than 200 learning modules to thousands of students. I have multiple certifications and publications related to game design, storytelling, and personal branding. My goal is to create meaningful solutions that enhance learning outcomes and experiences for diverse learners, starting January 2024.

Software Engineer Intern

  • Developed and tested the open-source Learning Management System (LMS), Planet, using technologies such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Docker, AngularJS, and Git to enhance educational accessibility and equity in rural areas of Guatemala, Nepal, and beyond.
  • Implemented an automation pipeline leveraging the Google Translate API to localize EPaath's 350 interactive modules into Spanish, significantly enhancing accessibility for Spanish-speaking communities in rural locales.

    EPaath - E-learning for Kids

    E-Paath is a collection of digital interactive learning activities that are designed and developed at OLE Nepal and distributed freely. The E-Paath activities are based on national curriculum of Nepal. They are subject-specific and grade-specific. E-Paath is available in Nepali and English languages for grades 1 – 8 and in Chepang language for grades 2 – 6. E-Paath can run on any browser. It can be accessed online from OLE Nepal’s free digital library, E-Pustakalaya. It can also be downloaded and used for free.
